The Hummer H3 has been designed more compactly so as to aid in effective manoeuvring facilities and to clear large obstructions during its off-road driving ventures. On the whole, the whole package seems to be genuinely impressive for true Hummer enthusiasts. |

Hummer H3 For Sale
The Hummer H3 which succeeded the H2 version in 2006 happens to be the smallest of the three models of the Hummer brand. Created by General Motors, this particular version that was based on the GMT355 platform was actually launched as a traditional SUV that was modelled more on the concept of a pick-up truck.
It is quite remarkable that after General Motors obtained the rights to the HUMMER brand in late 1999, its total sales have increased to around 1,000 vehicles in 2000 to more than 82,000 in 2006. This is mainly due to the fact that the Hummer H3 has managed to appeal to the senses of a wider audience because of its unique design and incomparable off-road potential.
In a special class of its own and unrivalled to a great extent, the Hummer H3 is fitted with a 3.7 litre engine that also has dual overhead camshafts and variable valve timing, resulting in an output of 244 hp at 5600 rpm and an impressive torque of 328 Nm at 4600 rpm. A choice of a manual or automatic transmission along with its unique dimensions helps the Hummer H3 to navigate on road city traffic, at the same time to maintain its off-road capabilities too.
The Hummer H3 is also fitted with an electronic four-wheel drive system that is further enhanced by features like traction control, stability control, locking rear differential, etc. its unique ‘wheel at each corner’ design makes it adapt excellently to off-road conditions and this rough brute can wade through even 610 mm deep streams at a pace of 5 mph or climb vertically to a slant of 407 mm too.
